Caribe Cottage ll of 3 in the series of mixed media art weavings. Caribe Cottage ll is slightly abstracted by clever use and placement of elements into my loom. Upcycled images are sliced, numbered, interlaced with my own hand dyed yarns and coordinating novelty yarns. I employ several weaving techniques to achieve the depth and fullness of texture, emulating profusion of colorsThe result is a lush, exhuberant expression of colorful homes in tropical environs.
