Caribe Cottage Two of 3 in my series of Caribe Cottage mixed media art weavings.
Caribe Cottage Two is a vibrant, mixed media reconstruction of the colorful
cottages in the Caribbean Islands. Slightly abstracted by weaving with
repurposed materials. Includig paper, my own hand dyed yarns and exotic
textured yarns.
Multiple weaving techniques achieve the depth and fullness of texture, emulating
profusion of colors extracted from the abstracted image.
The result is a lush, exuberant expression of colorful of the cottage homes on
tropical Caribbean islands.
