Coast/Lines is a metaphor on the importance of our fragile ecosystem. What happens there affects all life on the planet. Life begins in estuaries and is dependent on micro sea organisms. Where do we draw the line? Please have fun on our beaches, in our waterways and keep them clean.
Coast/Lines mixed media fiber art is upcycled cloth interwoven with other fibers including unspun wool roving to represent sand, ocean water, sky and clouds. Mounted on a frame stretched with multi-colored netting and dotted with small shells from Miami Beach and sea life replicas.
