VERSAILLES - whimsical work of woven mixed media fiber art.
Derived from an exquisite French chocolate bar wrapper - look closely at the verbiage at the top of the piece to see the ingredients - in French.
After savoring the fabulous chocolate bar, I repurposed the paper to create a whimsical tapestry. I accentuated the blue, lacey printed paper with feathery blue with gold metallic yarns, befitting the most famous Queen of France of the 18th Century.
