Enchanting small work from my Feather Series. I wove this diminutive beauty on a tiny hand loom using soft yarns. The yarn colors are reminiscent of the greens and
yellows of wild and domesticated PARAKEETS. I wove feathers gifted from local
birds into the weaving.
PARAKEET
Mixed media fiber art wall art. Hand woven cotton yarn and found feathers. The weaving is hand stitched onto crisp white linen cloth covering a 14” x 14” internal frame. Ready to hang.
