Purple Haze
Purple Haze, Award Winning Fiber Art Wall Hanging is an original work of art made by hand weaving cotton and linen yarns on a floor loom. I dyed the yarns prior to weaving to create a colorful variegated background of violeets, red violets, and blue violets. Exclusive Fine Art by PamelaPalmaDesigns
The top portion is embellished with a highly textured, deep purple novelty yarn with fringes added on top.
The middle portion has bands of violet woven into the background yarn. Fringes are added over top in this portion as well.
The lower section shows the base fabric which is woven throughout but somewhat disguised by the additions of other yarns.
The artwork is finished off with self fringe.
