Mixed media, hand woven with a number of unexpected surprises. Look closely. Can you identify them? mixed media tapestry art Part of a series I created using upcycled materials and hand dyed yarns. This artwork also qualifies as one of The Money Weavings because I felt it appropraite to weave in hanks of money as well as the household items.
Notice the optical movement created by my specialty, hand dyed yarns which change color as they dance across the background diamond design.
